My lessons are planned around a matter which the student has in mind. From there, the fundamentals as well as core principles are revisited in a lecture style. Engagement is key and I typically do this by asking questions connecting to the concepts available throughout the lesson. Often by the end all is restored and some example examination questions are asked.
To attain a great effect, spewing responses or mark schemes is insufficient. I often motivate my students by pressing more than the requirements. I constantly urge further analysis and recommend it heavily. I often spend 20 mins after the hour of the course going over concerns that the students have, despite how outside of the program it is.
I recognise exactly how overwhelming mathematics can look but I'm excited to have the chance to hand down my interest for the subject to my students. Throughout the no charge interview I will speak with the student to much better recognise their toughness and also weaknesses, and get a feeling of exactly how they learn best. Then I will be able to produce custom training sessions, specifically focusing on the areas they struggle in. The lessons will set around resolving enquiries with each other as well as resolving them utilising approaches that can be related to very close examination style concerns. Should the child or parent wish, I can also set home assignments to make sure that there is a solid comprehension of the matter.
